Music Therapy Supervision

Online and in-person one-to-one music therapy supervision for student and trainee music therapists. In-person sessions are available in Chelmsford, Essex and surrounding areas, with online supervision available across the UK.

Supervision for trainee music therapists

Supervision provides a safe space to step back from your work, reflect on your experiences and explore your developing practice. I currently supervise student music therapists and understand the particular challenges and opportunities involved in training and developing your professional identity.

What supervision can support you with

Each session is shaped around what you bring. Areas we can explore together include:

  • Reflecting on clinical work and placements
  • Exploring therapeutic relationships and boundaries
  • Thinking through challenging or complex situations
  • Developing confidence and professional identity
  • Connecting theory with clinical practice
  • Exploring communication and inclusive practice
  • Considering professional development and CPD
  • Having space to reflect on your own wellbeing and responses to clinical work

My approach to supervision

My approach is collaborative, person-centred and non-judgemental. I aim to create a space where you can bring questions, uncertainties and challenges, and explore these together without judgement.

Whether you are a student developing your clinical skills or a trainee music therapist looking for support and reflection, I can offer a space to reflect, explore and develop your practice.
